This piece is part of the collection I was lucky enough to acquire from a woman so fantastic, she used to wear stunning Victorian hair combs  and elbow satin gloves on any given Saturday evening.  Oh, to be that fabulous!

Circa 1910/1920's, the rich, faux tortoise shell celluloid features a gorgeous, intricate swirling feather pattern set off with a sparkling Fluer de Lis set with sparkly, sapphire blue crystals.  A bold, subtly arching fan shape is trimmed with matching blue crystals for the perfect balance of elegance and boldness. 

As this is an authentic antique and has a glamorous past, it does show minimal signs of wear and has one stone missing,  but is still in remarkable condition.

Unique and rare, this stunning,  surprisingly versatile piece can go formal or casual, adding the perfect splash of dazzling design and color to any ensemble.
